Hi Frank,

Yes, I think I got the answers I need.

I have been unsuccessful in feeding a remote IR receiver to the Dancraft
IR-3 receiver input. I have however, figured out that in my particular
case, the remote IR receiver is sending demodulated TTL pulses and
aparently the Dancraft IR-3 wants to see a modulated signal on it's
external IR input. So, I'm building up the "cheapie" IR transmitter to
add the 40Khz modulation signal.

If I have trouble with that, then I'll just go and buy a Xantech IR
receiver and re-wire to use that, instead of the way I'm trying to do it
now.
