Subject: From: Date: | State value of named event? Bill Walters Sat, 20 Feb 1999 08:34:51 -0600 |
Mark,
Is there a way to determine the state value of a named event?
Say I have 35 events, are the internal state values in the range of 0 to
34, 1 to 35, or something else?
The reason I'm asking is due to ACE usage. ACE will (aparently) not
allow you to set an event-call item to a named value; I want to see if
it will work setting an event-call to a numeric value.
For sake of discussion, back to 35 events. 1 event is a "called" event,
named "Inside Lights OFF". It is determined to have a state value of
30, so both of the following would work equally well:
Do Event-Call Set Inside Lights OFF
or
Do Event-Call Set 30
I'm trying to see if ACE will work with the latter; I know it doesn't
work with the first.
Thanks,
Bill Walters
