Subject: From: Date: | Phone line with PBX Don Wed, 24 Feb 1999 17:25:01 -0800 |
Two questions, now that I have my phone-interface-c working. (Thanks again,
Mark) Is anyone using a PBX and if so, how are the incoming and outgoing
lines routed through the modem. I have the line side of my Zoom going to the
extension side of the PBX but this blocks the caller-ID. If I switch the
lines so that the port marked Line on the modem goes to a splitter where the
phone line is connected to the PBX I can't use the modem to page, which
brings up my second question. I have created a Phone-Call Item with the
Message Item pointing to a Text Item. When I set the Phone-Call Item to
call, it does, but when I answer the phone from the other line, the Message
Item is spoken so fast I can't understand it. Anyone run into this?
Thanks;
Don
