Subject: From: Date: | ECS Lockup Mark Sekelsky Sat, 27 Feb 1999 06:52:44 -0600 |
Mark,
My wife came home yesterday to a locked up system. Specifically it was the
modem. She just rebooted and didn't not any messages or behaviors. I know
it was the modem as her brother said he had been trying to call all
afternoon and kept getting a busy signal. The last error message I could
find in the log was:
O 02/26 2:44 PM:PCRT_RTN:Modem record abort tmo (Item "Phone: Answer")
I probably have the modem hang every month and 1/2 or so. I can never
replicate it. I have never seen this error message before. Since I can't
replicate I know that isn't much you can do, but wanted to pass this along.
