RE: [ECS] Reset interfaces remotely

Mine has always been fine as well. I never use it to receive IR. However
in the past I have not used it for much more that turning the receiver on
and off. I am now asking more from it (although I am sure not more than
Michael) and it hasn't been happy about that.

I have used the Home Vision for a day and half now and have asked far more
of it than I ever did the IR Master. So far not a hitch. I'd really rather
the IR worked flawlessly. It is the cheaper option!

Hi Mark!

You know - mine has too - for at least 7 years now. I'm always surprised at
how other people have problems with theirs.

One thing I know I am doing differently than most, is that I don't use the
unit for receiving i/r signals at all, other than to learn the codes
initially. All I do is transmit i/r signals.

Cheers!

FYI:The reason I wanted to pursue this further is that MY
IR-Master behaves flawlessly (and has for years now).
I would ask that any that have had such problems email
me your model # (on the unit) and your ECS.DT. Thanks.
