      I have also used the IR-Master without any problems for the last 8
years. I have never needed to reset the unit and has just worked flawlessly.
It is on a UPS along with the PC and most of the ECS support hardware however.
One problem I did encounter early on was an intermittant condition when using
the emitter expansion cable. It was during a hardware checkout that I
discovered  that the cable's RJ-11 connector had a bad crimp. Recrimping
easily fixed the problem.
