Subject: From: Date: | Caller ID Problem Jerry Swords Wed, 03 Mar 1999 11:52:12 -0500 |
Hi all,
I was able to get my old 33.6k Supra Express modem to work with ECS, but am
having a slight problem with the caller ID. Whenever the same caller calls
twice, without someone else calling in the interim, the caller ID
information is ignored by either ECS or my modem. ECS processes information
properly, as long as the same name/number doesn't show up twice in a row.
Has anyone experienced this? Is this a problem with my modem, or is this
just the way ECS works? If it's ECS, is there any way to clear the last
name/number received information from ECS' "memory" after each call?
Thanks,
Jerry Swords
