It's similar under NT, but NT doesn't have an Autoexec.bat. Go to the Control
Panel, System, Environment. You should see COMSPEC in the System Variables list
(the top one). I'd recommend not changing it from the default, though, because
even if it does make ECS work (which I haven't tried), it could screw up any
number of other programs.
You could also create a batch file ECSSTART.CMD that explicitly sets the
COMSPEC variable (and whatever other variables you may need) and then starts
ECSW.
