Mark,

I would throw in a vote for 32 x 32.  The reason is that I have very few
items setup where I do not resize the item to eliminate seeing the name of
the icon.  I do this to give it a little bit of a cleaner look, and for more
screen real estate.  Since the icons don't size themselves (maybe they
could?) I end up cutting off the top or bottom of some icons.

Carl, they look great (and MOST convenient to view as well) !
I need them to be 48x48.
Also, I think the bulb base and bulb outline should
always be visible.
