Re: [ECS] ECSW and NT problem

I found cmd.exe and command.com in my winnt/system32 directory. cmd.exe
is what COMSPEC is currently set to. I changed it to command.com in the
control panel, but I still have the same problem. I'm not sure cmd.exe
and command.com are different as they both report their version as
'Windows NT 4.0' (when you type ver at the command prompt).

Immediately after starting ecsw I pressed ctrl-x and then alt-c and this
is what got put in the dbg.tmp file:

07/28/98 12:43:58:SYS_EXE:cmd=EVC C X chk=1 dsp=0 wait=1
07/28/98 12:43:58:SYS_EXE:cmd=EVC C X

Does this tell you anything, Mark?

Maybe I'll try a command.com from my Win95 pc later tonight.

Mark, what are you using to build ecsw? VC++ 5.0? I'm just curious so I
can do a little research on any compatability issues btwn 95 and NT for
programs that use the command interpreter.
