I guess I need to explain further:
If you edit ECS.CFG manually, ECS assumes that you wish
for the initial states in ECS.CFG to override those in
ECS.BK (for the next run only). ECS has no way of knowing
WHAT you modified in ECS.CFG. Again, this is by design.
