Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] BETA upload Garnet Bailey Thu, 30 Jul 1998 14:50:41 -0600 |
I haven't upgraded since the ECSW blitz back in February, so had a crack at
the latest uploads today. The download and install procedure on the web site
worked well with the files in ECS on gallops.
BUT, I have two problems:
1) The ECSW.EX_ referred to in this message (I installed it AFTER checking
out the update) ONLY runs in ECS LITE mode. It ignores my authorization all
together. Going back to the one on the ECS site is fine - it still
recognizes my authorization. (In other words I can't check out this latest
upload).
2) The ECSW.EXE on the ECS site complains about darn near every ECS.DOC
entry on start-up. Do we have a messed up ECS.DIR that I missed along the
way? Either way, it doesn't appear to be on the site, since I did a full
download.
