Subject: From: Date: | Phone ERROR message Tom Hutchins Wed, 17 Mar 1999 19:02:00 -0500 |
Wed, 17 Mar 1999 19:02:00 -0500
I'm trying to record a phone answer message. I go to the phone-answer-message item and
hit record. I then get the start / stop record box, then pick up the handset(which is
plugged into the modem). Click on start, the dial tone turns off and the I speak into
the handset. After about 3-5 seconds(while I'm still speaking) it beeps and the record
box disappears. I get the message:
ERROR:Modem ERROR responding to "AT#VTS=[1000,0,5]"
When I click on play the play box flashes quickly on the screen and disappears. No sound
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong
