Hey everyone,
I have a question. What I want to do is this:
I have a motion sensor in my living room that I want to turn on a lamp when
motion is detected. But, I don't want to turn it on if ANY of the 2 other
lights in the living room are already on. How can I check to see if a lamp
is NOT off BUT may be dimmed?
Right now, I am checking the two other lamps to see if they are greater than
12%.
I picked this dim level because it is just enough light to be barely visible
through the lamp shades so therefore I should turn on the third light to
full brightness.
Is this the right way to do it? Or is there a better approach. I use this
approach in other events when I want to check if a light is NOT on but may
be dimmed.
Thanks,
Tim
