Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] Phone wire? Tom Hutchins Fri, 19 Mar 1999 18:44:05 -0500 |
Alright all you phone wire experts! I'm trying to hook up a jack on an
existing set of phone wires. I do not get a dial tone on the phone. Is there
some way I can use a multimeter to test the phone lines to see if they are
live? If not I'll run a new set of wires but obviuosly I'd prefer to use the
existing set.
BTW I hooked up the red to red and green to green, hope that's right.
Tom
