No Error Msg.

Zoom VFP14.4 V internal modem

>Detailed (step-by-step) instructions on how to reproduce the problem:

Create a Phone-Call Item.
Place a Text Item in the Message Item.
Use :ATDT969-XXXX P for the dial string
Pushe the call button.
When I answered the phone there was a 3 or 4 second wait and then the text
Item was soken at very high speed.

>Other pertinent details (please be VERY specific):

I can't add much more, I tried changing the Bits/Sample from 4 to 8, which
didn't help.
The delay before the superfast speech is long enough that most people would
hang up before the message was ever spoken. I changed the Message Item to a
Voice-
Recording-C and THAT message was easily understood.
