Subject: [ECS] Alphanumeric paging
Although, I don't use ECS, I was hoping I could ask a question on this list
anyway ;-)
I'm looking for a program that will page an alphanumeric pager/cell phone,
through the providers dialup connection.
BUT, it needs to be able to send messages under my controllers command.
For example if the paging program was called pager.com, I would want the
following to work:
pager.com The temperature is below 60 degrees!
I would want that to call up the paging company's computer and send the 'The
temperature is below 60 degrees!' line, then go back to an idle state and
wait for another command later.
I hope this wasn't too confusing. Thanks for any help.
