Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] TC+ Communication Error Carl Keyes Tue, 23 Mar 1999 12:43:52 PST |
Jerry,
I'm also using a TC+ 2.40d with ECS 4.0.
I get the same error message from time to
time as well. I just re-start and it generally will
locate it. No real solution I afraid.
My ir-interface, JDS also, has the same
problem from time to time.
I'm going to try Marks' latest beta ver.
tonight to see if he got dimming to work
with it. It currently won't dim with a TC+.
Only On and Off commands work.
There may be one other issue happening.
I created a new Relay-G item that was
functioning fine till I had to re-start
ECS and got the error message, Station #
0 not defined" on that item when loading.
The fix was to move it's postion in the cfg
to AFTER the PLC-Interface-2G item.
If the new relay item needed to be loaded
after the interface item ECS should have saved it
there in the first place.
I suppose it's possible that your cfg isn't reading
plc item in the proper sequence.(?)
later,
Carl
