That works great however what I can't do (remember their are days I'm sharp
and days I'm not) is read the contents of the file into a text item so that
I can then manipulate it with such things as set/char. I realize that even
if there is a way to do it I have a 60 char limitation. You are busy on
Modems and TC+ when things settle down lets come back to it.

Doug, use the FILE Item to append chars to a file.
