Subject: From: Date: | ECSB upload Mark Gilmore Wed, 24 Mar 1999 20:23:23 -0800 |
http://www.usit.com/omnip/ECSB.ZIP (ECS.EXE only) has
been uploaded, and incorporates the following changes.
#83 is the only change since earlier today
(but it could really cause some confusion :-)).
4.0.024 (03/??/98)
75) Corrected a problem with the TimeCommander (PLC-INTERFACE-2G),
which could prevent ECS from properly tracking the States of
Light/Appliance Items.
76) ECS/WIN: Fixed a bug which prevented ECS from setting up
serial-ports for 7-bit word-lengths. I think any effects
were limited to PAGING and I/O via SERIAL-BYTE Items
(IF word-length was 7).
77) A new Type (LIGHT/B) has been added for use with the X-10
LM14A & Leviton 6381 lamp modules (both of which support
"direct-level" dimming).
78) ECS/WIN: Improved Event Editor parser such that it properly
"expands" partially-entered operators (e.g. "D X M X" would
expand to "Do X Multiply X"). Also, if a partial Item-name
is entered , it now expands to the first matching Item-name
in the choice-list (alphabetical) rather than the first in
ECS.CFG.
79) Fixed a bug (related to the FILE Type), which prevented ECS
from reading data from a file if it was created dynamically
(while ECS was running).
80) ECS/WIN: The PRINT & PRINT/LPT2 States for the TEXT & FILE
Types are now supported.
81) Handset-record problems have been corrected with some (all ?)
modems which may act as PHONE-INTERFACE-C.
82) ECS/WIN: After the user deletes a Group/Item/Event, ECS now
resets the option to "Create" (to help prevent accidental
deletions).
83) ECS/WIN:A bug has been corrected which kept ECS from saving the
.WAV version of an .RPC recording when a PHONE-RECORDING-C Item
was created or modified (if you then set it to PLAY->VC, the
OLD .WAV would be played).
