That means that something is wrong with the registry key where the
uninstall information is stored. It might be registry corruption, in which
case you are out of luck (95 is infamous for registry corruption, although
usually, it would render your system unbootable).
You can check out the registry and see if you can see anything that would
be obviously wrong. Focus on the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
The file UNINST.ISU contains Installshield's unintall information.
Uninstalling will fail if you already manually deleted the files.
