I'm stumped.  For some odd reason, VR stopped working completely.  I had
used it and hour or so before and it was left running.  When I came back to
it nothing happened.  The mic is live, since I can hear it through my
speakers but nothing came up in VR, not even UNRECOGNIZED.

I tried re-running the Speech API, but that didn't seem to do anything.
Nothing else has changed in the system and I've tried it with two different
mics.  Any ideas?
