Subject: From: Date: | WPDL WARNING Mark Gilmore Wed, 31 Mar 1999 07:44:30 -0800 |
I have found that the use of WPDL can trigger a Win
"LOCKUP" sometime after it's use (0-90 minutes later).
If I press ctrl-alt-del, I get the following after some 5 seconds:
"THIS SYSTEM IS BUSY WAITING FOR THE CLOSE DIALOG BOX TO BE DISPLAYED"
If I press ctrl-alt-del again, I get:
"THE SYSTEM IS EITHER BUSY OR HAS BECOME UNSTABLE"
A hard reboot is required to recover.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with WPDL ?
If so, we may need to use POSTIE to download webpages for us.
In WPDL, I'm calling high-level MS functions that I have little
control over (this would NOT be something that I could fix).
Thanks.
