The communication problem is mine. I forgot that VR.exe is your program and
that the actual speech engine is Microsoft.
That came from VR.exe automatically loading (or at least working ) with out
loading a speech engine.
I uninstalled all of the MS speech programs and tried running VR. I got the
following error:
cu-Ivoice command: 80040154(W95err#b7 cannot create a file that allready
exists)
I got the same error if I loaded Dragon First then VR.
I uninstalled and reinstalled ECS same error. I reinstalled MS the error
went away and the program ran fine.
I'm a the point now where I can't load VR without MS being installed (not
neccessarily running)
The error message dosen't make much sense to me.
Note: I don't wish to push this issue. I'm am not tied to Dragon, I'm just
having some fun. If you want to drop the issue
now or at any time in the future just say so.
Thanks Randy
