ECS 4.0.025 has been released/uploaded, and incorporates
the changes below. You need not upgrade if you had already
downloaded ECSB.ZIP (BETA SOFTWARE). To upgrade:

     1)	Backup your existing ECS directory (just in case).
<b>WARNING:</b> If you have customized <b>ICONS.DEF</b> or any icon
image
files, they <B>MUST</b> be backed up, as they will be overwritten
	during the install.

     2)	Download <a
href="ECSL.ZIPhttp://www.usit.com/omnip/ECSL.ZIP">ECSL.ZIP</a> into an empty
directory.

     3)	Unzip ECSL.ZIP in that directory.

     4)	From your Win DeskTop, click <B>STARTUP</B> & <B>RUN</B>, and
enter
"<B>\{dir}\SETUP</B>", where {dir} is the name of the directory.

     5)	<B>CAREFULLY REVIEW THE UPDATES DESCRIBED IN UPD.TXT, AND MAKE
ANY
	REQUIRED CHANGES.</B>

     6)	If you had customized <b>ICONS.DEF</b> or any icon image files,
	restore your backed-up copies.

	4.0.025 (04/11/99)

* 89)	Rockwell Voice modems which use the "V.253 AT+V" command
set are now "supported", but testing is NOT yet complete
(if you have such a modem, please contact us).
NOTE: PHN_C.SET has been replaced by PHNC0.SET (original
	"AT#" commands) and PHCNC1.SET (new "AT+" commands).

    90)	Corrected a problem which prevented the TimeCommander
	(PLC-INTERFACE-2G) from dimming properly.

    91)	ECS/WIN: Under Win/NT, ECS no longer uses fixed fonts in any
screens. For some unknown reason, the use of fixed fonts in
select areas caused the other (proportional) fonts to appear
too large. This "fix" will effect the following areas (columns
will not be aligned properly with proportional fonts):
	1) Item Editor : Help-text area (at bottom).
	2) Event Editor : Body of Event & line numbers to the left.
	3) Message Screen: Message listings
	4) Help Screen : Help text (ECS.HTM)
