Mark,

In my system, opening Control Panel, System, and clicking on Sound,video
and game controllers, I see listed "Wave Device for Voice Modem".

Opening that device and looking at the Driver tab, it shows "Rockwell
ACF Voice Serial Wave Device".

I've now said more than I know about it! < GRIN! >

The modem I have is a SupraExpress 56i SP (speakerphone voice modem).  I
seem to remember that the included software included a telephony app. 
If you want some more info on it, I'll dig it out and see what's there.
