Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] Thermostat Selection questions Bill Walters Sat, 17 Apr 1999 18:56:33 -0500 |
Peter,
Just so I understand:
1. Stand Alone (not connected to HA system)
RC-80 <---- 4 wires ----> HVAC unit
2. If it is to be used with to ECS:
+------------- 4 wires to HVAC System
RC-80
+------------- 4 wires to ECS system
Which means 8 wires to each thermostat (4 to HVAC, 4 to ECS) for using
with ECS. And, each must be on its OWN serial port.
Is this correct?
