Mark,

I am doing exactly what you describe, only with 3 cameras.

The cameras are driven on 12v , so to each site I have a RG58 and 1 pair
20ga for the 12v.

At my office, each RG58 is terminated with a BNC adapter, which fits into a
T adapter.

One branch of the T goes to a sequential switcher, which then feeds to a
Toshiba time lapse VCR , which then feeds to a monitor.

The other branch of the T goes to a "Triple Play" RF modulator. It takes the
broadband TV signal from the camera and puts it on a TV frequency.

Our cable company only goes up to channel 78. Thus, I had the triple play
put my cameras are on Channels 81, 83, and 85.

The front door is 81, the back door is 83, the pool is 85.

I ran the output from the triple play back into my cable system. Instead of
taking a signal OUT of the cable, it puts one IN.

So ANY TV in the house can look at the front door (81) back door (83) and
pool (85). I have most of the TV memories preset for these frequencies.

I think it's a neat setup. No reason PIP wouldn't work with this too. Since
our cable box has a separate input for the TV (for descrambling) vs. the
"raw" cable, we can watch the doors with the "raw cable" tuner on PIP, and
the cable box supplies the main picture. If you wanted, you could use the
sequencer output to go to only 1 RF channel and watch as many places as you
want.
