Mark:

First of all it doesn't seem like the lamp is dimming to the percentage I
specified. To be honest, even at 10% it seems that the light is only about
50% dimmed. At 0% it looks to be about 30% - 40%, that's just a guess. It
also doesn't dim with an X-10 Wall Switch or an X-10 Lamp Module, so the
bulb could be either a table lamp or a ceiling fixture. These are the same
units I've used with my previous systems, Enerlogic and JDS TimeCommander.

I responded to Jerry Swords but for some reason my posting didn't go
through. In any case, my ECS seems to acting in the identical manner in
which Jerry's does.

Regarding my problem with timers. The following is a portion of en event
where I am using a timer:

Then Dining Light Set
Off
Then Center Light Set
Off
Then East Light Timer Set 30
(Seconds)
If East Light Timer Is Now 0
 Then East Light Set
Off

Once again, I am trying to use a timer with both a wall switch and/or a lamp
module and in either case it doesn't execute the action that follows the
Timer. If I start the Event then in the Timer Group I can watch the Timer
time out and then that's it. I also know that ECS doesn't send out a
command because the XMIT and REC lights on my JDS TimeCommander box don't
flash which they normally do if its sending or receiving.
