Stephen,

I can't respond about the Powermid, but the response time of IR with
HomeVision (or IR Master) is virtually instantaneous. I find it no different
than the remote.

I thought about using the Powermid repeaters for this application.  My
concern with using them is the time delay an entire IR round trip
message will take Remote->Powermid->
->Powermid->Homevision->ECS->Homevision->Powermid->Powermid->Device.

Do you or anybody on the list have any experience with the Powermid
repeaters.  Do them impart a (substantial or annoying) delay?  Is there
a significant delay using IR with Homevision and ECS?
