Lightning Strike

Well...

Woke up this morning to a loud boom and flash of light... Lightning
strike about 30 yards from my back property line.... Gee.. sure glad I
put in whold house surge suppression last year...

Cursory testing however, reveals the following:

1. Network hub - inoperative
2. Prairie Digital 40 - inoperative
3. IR-3 - inoperative
4. Network card in main downstairs computer - inoperative.

Got a new hub and one new network card; so network & all is back up and
running.

Not sure what to do about loss of PD-40 & IR-3... Did a little
preliminary troubleshooting; hooked PD-40 to known good serial port and
ran the diagnostic disk included with it..... nothing returned from
PD-40. Any suggestions?

Don't have any software to test/examine the IR-3 (IR-Jukebox). Anybody
got anything or any suggestions?

However, looks like all X-10 switches survived....

Time will tell.
