Thanks Joe - the IR-3 is the "IR Jukebox", or that's how it was
aparently marketed. There are more than several of them in use on ECS
systems, as ECS supports it directly. The IR-3 differs from the IR-100
in several ways: 3 input "plugs" in back of unit, 3/8" jack for 9 vdc,
RJ-11 for RS-232, and RJ-45 which provides connections to ground, IR
emitters 1-4, and IR-IN...
Standard wooden base, red plastic transparent box....
I'd LOVE some info on what chip might be which...
