Subject: From: Date: | MP3 player Dario Greggio Wed, 05 May 1999 23:28:51 +0200 |
In case anyone was interested, I converted (ported) the MPG123 unix MP3
player to Win95.
It was needed in spite of Winamp to be fully controlled by my HA system.
It works fine, maybe still uses much CPU time but on a Pentium 233 or
higher works fine and home automation responds still well.
Side good things are that you can send MP3 files over a Rockwell modem
through TAPI, with a quality not so bad (7200Hz as usual) and, for
example, have audio on demand.
At the moment, it's a C++ source code.
