Programming Delays

With JDS software, I was able to program delays between individual steps of
an event, while the entire program continued to cycle normally. Is there a
way, with ECS, to program delays between individual steps of an event,
without the need to define several different timer items?

Specifically, I have a drip irrigation system for my plants that is operated
by triggering several relays throughout the day, based on the time, or when
commanded by pushing an X10 switch. I am using several "event-call"s which
specify which relays to open or close, but how do I delay after closing the
relays in a given event-call, before ECS moves on to the next event-call?
Basically, how do I do "Event A", delay 2 minutes, do "Event B", delay 5
minutes, etc... ?

I would really appreciate any suggestions. I have several events which
operate this same way.

Thanks,
Jerry Swords
