Hi,

A while back, Mark asked around for any knowledge of a modem being used with
ECS which also coped with UK caller ID
they was NO answer, I believe this is because the is only a couple of modems
out their that have this capability, one of which is the PACE 56 SOLO, I am
getting extremely frustrasted at my attempts to understand serial-byte and
how to code it.
I suppose what I am saying is that ECS is a wonderful product but its Modem
support is very limited and the information whithin the docs on how to use
Serial-byte (which is a highly complex area) is riduculously short.

MARK please support the UK and Europe more, all the products you support
need alternatives to be available for the rest of the world. otherwise ECS
becomes another " its an american home automation package" type program.


I didn't intend to upset anyone just to air my views, I apoligise in advance
if i've caused offense..
