Hi,

does anyone have any example config showing how to use serial-byte to
interface with unsupported hardware? I am really stuck on how to read and
manipulate the information I am receiving,

for instance I have a device that gives me caller ID in the following
format:


0161 345 4553offline




how could I read this information in and (hopefully) process it with 'phone
event'
