Subject: From: Date: | phone answer message peter kraus Wed, 2 Jun 1999 12:14:59 -0400 |
i have a pentium 166 with 64 meg ram 5 meg ram disk.
my phone answer item is a text type.
there is a delay between pickup and tts speaking of the text.
could there be another type: text/c(onverted)
this type would be text that when saved would create 2 files 1 .wav 1 .rpc
therefore ready to go at a moments notice without delay.
there might be another way to do this but i don't know how, i hope the
concept comes through.
as an aside after having trouble with phone-c before this new 4.1 stuff is
fantastic.
