Re: [ECS] Handset rec ?

Because the ECS computer is upstairs in a closet; not exactly "handy".
I've worked pretty hard trying to get HA "user friendly" without having
computers visible.

With ECS 3.4 & BIGMOUTH card, we had gotten used to having the ability
to pick up the phone, press # key, and leave a "local" message instead
of taking time to write a note, when one of us was leaving the house.

I have not had time to re-implement this with ECS 4.1; heck, you just
now got around to allowing ECS to continue running while the beast was
speaking, so now I can delete phone messages with my touchscreen.

Anyway, my intent, after getting HVAC up (I've got RC-80 thermostats in
hand!) was to "go back" and implement the ability to record "local"
messages to each other; was going to use a "button" in ACE; have ECS say
somthing like "OK, pick up the phone and record your message. Hang up
when done".

Guess my family is a little "strange"; none of us have set schedules.
Closest thing to a "9 to 5er" is our teenager when school is in
session. So, with the 3 of us on the go, many times in different
directions, was nice to be able to make "local" recordings that family
could pick up remotely, or along with other messages, when they get
home.

Mark, you just gave ECS the ability to work wonders with phone stuff;
don't go "backwards" by requiring users to stand in front of a computer
to leave a message.
