Hi Mark!

Well, I should have de-authorized before I installed Win98.  Somehow during
that process I lost it.  I really didn't think it would be a problem until I
converted files systems, which is why I had planned to de-authorize before
running the FAT32 converter.

So, I'm on the hunt now for my master disk to see if it has an authorization
left on it.  I'd sure hate to be without ECS for a few days while I wait for
Mark to send me another disk!  :(

So, the moral of the story here folks is de-authorize before you upgrade to
Win98!

I don't know if you "have to" but as the conversion takes place in DOS you
have to shut down ECSW for the conversion.  As long as ECSW can't be running
it is probably just as safe to "de-authorize" rather than take the chance
that ECS sees the move as tampering.

I have been running ECSW with Win 98 (and FAT 32) for about 5 weeks or so.
Have had no problems at all.
