Look carefully at the geothermal. It does make sense. My sister had it and
had a lot of problems here in NJ. The house must be sealed pretty tight
(indoor polution) so be careful if you have allergies. She did have some
problems regulating the heat to a comfortable level through out the house.
She did have to have a backup for really cold days that would kick in and
increase her electric bill. Overall I would say in the end she was saving
money but then again their was the grief factor. She has since moved so I
can't ask her if she would do it again.
