Make sure your com ports are set up correctly and no interrupt conflicts
exist. It should not be easy to lock it up. There have been instances of
flourescent and some of the newer "green" lights emitting some IR radiation
that can cause problems by flooding the receiver. Also, make sure to try the
other model settings as well.

Subject: [ECS] IR Master Model 100S

I have a Dancraft IR Master Model 100S. I purchased this back in Feb./Mar.
time frame. I have it working but have been experiencing where the unit will
lockup at times when ir commands are sent. Then you have to power the unit
off and back on before it will start working again with ECS. I have
relearned the ir commands that I have defined several times, tried changing
the signal delay, and changing the buffer size as well even though I am
sending only one command when it locks up. It t does this on various
commands, and not just one. I was wondering if any of you that are using the
Model 100S are experiencing any problems like this and if not, what do you
have as the model under ECS? Are there any other suggestions that I could
try to correct this problem? I have tried the model 100 and the 100X, but
experience the lockups. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
