This may be a dumb quesiton, but ...
I can't seem to get ECS to run (or if it does, I'm missing something). When
I click on the ECS icon (Windows NT 4.0 service Pack 5), I see the ECS
program apparently starting, initializing, and then momentarily display "ECS
at your service" before it goes away leaving just a DOS windows with two
prompts of c:\Program Files\SUNCLC.EXE. The title in the DOS window is "ECS
console (please do NOT close)".
Can't seem to get past that. The ECS groups window was a tantilizing look
into what ECS is or might be. By the way - my home controller is HomeVision
which is connected to directly to a serial port on my PC.
I admit that I haven't wandered thru the whole manual, but it seems like I
should be able to a least get to a Windows Help screen by clicking on ECS
icon after normal installation.
Thanks in advance for help/advice
