Hi Bill!
The cable modem allows for my Intranet to be constantly connected to the
Internet. So, all I had to do was install pcAnywhere on my Intranet
computers and configure them to be "hosts", and install pcAnywhere on my
work machine and set it up to be the "remote" PC.
The hardest part was configuring Sygate's firewall with the necessary
tunnels to allow pcAnywhere through. But, with the help of the folks at
Sygate's customer service, I got through that. :)
So now, from work, I can select any of the PC's on the home Intranet, and
it's just like being at the machine, except slower.
Cheers!
Michael David
