Now that I have Media One Broadband (still waiting on the cable modem
option) I do not have a channel to distribute HomeVision and my camera to
an unused channel. Seems that the unused channels still produce some video
signal that blocks my camera and HV channels.

I was thinking of placing a video switcher in the wiring closet to switch
between the camera and HV and the Media One cable. I have found an Allegro
IR remote video cable switcher in Smart home.com catalog. Has anyone used
this Allegro switch and did HV learn the IR code? I do not recall seeing
any other switches. I think that Radio Shack may have an IR switch. Seems
like I once saw an X10 video switch but do not know where.

I am open to other suggestions....... I could possibly block two incoming
channels but do not know how to do that and I really have few channels to
consider blocking.
