Yesterday we had a storm and I came in to find HV not responding to the
puter.  A simple power off and a couple seconds wait and then power on did
the trick.  The on status light on Homevision was not on.

I came home tonight and had at 5:12PM "BAD PACKET:98 Input Port Changed"  I
have not changed anything in a few weeks. Again the on status light of
Homevision was not on. (far left indicator light which is green)
 
The next line at 5:13PM said, PLC-Interface-2J not responding to G00 on
COM1: Homevision Item" 

The solution was the same to unplug the power a moment and then power it
back up.  That solved the problem.

Got any ideas.......  everything, power, tele etc protected and computer on
a UPS........
