Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] Speech Recognition Question Martin Terry Fri, 9 Jul 1999 17:13:02 -0700 |
Thanks Mark.
Would there be a way to perform a "work around" by sending the mouse/key
commands to the SR application driven by an ECS button press?
For example could I use an X10 keypad that has buttons configured to swap SR
users? Doesn't seem like the event would be too complex but I haven't tried
any of the windows program manipulation commands.

Martin,
Right now, the only way to change speakers is to
select another via the SR.EXE SPEAKER drop-down list.
I will try to add an enhancement in a later rev which
will automatically select the appropriate speaker when
the INIT command is spoken.
To CREATE a new speaker, edit SR.SPK and add the name(s)
of the new speaker(s). Then run SR, select the new speaker,
and train. Sorry I failed to document this.
