Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] TX-15 Thermostats Jerry Swords Fri, 16 Jul 1999 15:06:29 -0400 |
Has anyone defined item types for the TX15-B thermostat for use with ECS? Mark
sent me a new ITPCST.DEF file, which defines TX-15 Mode and TX-15 Temp, but I
need to define the modes and temperatures for the TX-15B (bidirectional)
thermostat which uses the preset dim levels of each unit code, under the
specified house code, to send and receive information. I would need to define
each command and its associated preset dim level in the ITPCST.DEF file.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure what line format to use to define each command. For
example, the following lines are used in ITPCST.DEF to define TX-15 modes:
The lines below define the CUSTOM Type "TX15 Mode", which may
be used to set the mode of the TX15 X-10 Thermostat (by RCS):
|TYPE: TX15-Mode
| Unknown 0
| Off 1564 // 1/Off
| Heat 1820 // 2/Off
| Cool 1052 // 3/Off
| Auto 1308 // 4/Off
Does anyone know how I would re-write these lines to indicate the following:
Command Unit Code Preset Dim Level
Off 4 0%
Heat 4 3%
Cool 4 6%
Auto 4 10%
I realize that defining all 440+ setpoints, commands, status requests, and
temperature reports will take some time, but the functionality of the thermostat
is worth the effort.
Thanks,
Jerry Swords
