Subject: From: Date: | Sending commands to ECS from command line... Scott Reston Fri, 23 Jul 1999 10:13:13 -0500 |
i've been setting up my in-house web server and have been thinking about how to interact
with ECS through a web client. i'm not much of a programmer, but i
can hack my way around perl enough to be dangerous. i was looking over the DDEcln.c
file included with ECS and i get the impression that if compiled, i could
run this program with a DDE argument and have the command sent to ECS. am i right here?
it looks, however, like the program is missing some pieces
(mentioned in the header for the file) that would prevent me from being able to use
this.
has anyone out there created a compiled version of this or something like it? is anyone
talking to ECS via Perl directly?
thanks!
