TX15B Testing

Hi Mark,

I've just begun to test my TX15B thermostat with ECS. Just some initial
observations:

I have programmed 2 items using HVAC-Interface-D, one to monitor house
temperature (Setting: Temp), and one to change the setpoint of the
thermostat (Setting: Setpoint). I also created a group display for each.

The Setpoint setting is sending commands to the TX15B, but it sends a
command to adjust the setpoint to 1 degree warmer than what I entered in the
drop down menu for the setpoint setting (selecting 74 degrees adjusts the
TX15B to 75 degrees, etc.). Also, after selecting 74 degrees from the menu,
the displayed value in the group display screen changes from 74 to 42
degrees (73/41, 75/43, etc.).

Using the item created with a Setting of "Temp", I'm not sure how you have
it set up to work. Since there is already a "Setpoint" setting, I am
assuming that the "Temp" setting is intended to monitor the room temperature
as reported by the TX15B when auto-send is on. I do have auto-send on,
however, monitoring the display in the group screen, the value never
changes. When I select "Read" from the drop down menu, the thermostat
always returns a value of the current TX15B setpoint setting.

Hope this helps. I'll continue testing the other functions. Let me know if
you want me to try something, specifically.

Jerry
