Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] NT and ZOOM 14.4 VFP Modem Michael David Mon, 23 Aug 1999 09:30:11 -0400 |
Hi Kevin!
I used it for a few months with non of those problems. i had it configured
for COM 3, IRQ 5, and just used the stock NT driver.
At the time, I was running SP4.
Cheers!

Subject: [ECS] NT and ZOOM 14.4 VFP Modem
Is anyone using ECS with win NT and a Zoom 14.4 internal VFP modem?
If so is there any special configuration I should be using?
If I try to play a phone-msg through the line I get the following error:
Modem Error responding to AT#VTX?
If I play the phone msg through the pc I don't hear anything from the modem
speaker either.
ECS also only records the first couple seconds of a wav file for a phone msg
type. So I have to use sound recorder.
Has anyone experienced these anomolies?
Any help would be great.
The rpc files are being created...at least they appear to be.
Thanks
Kevin
